De-aging ingredients penetrate more deeply on damp skin, although they can irritate sensitive complexions if the skin is moist. If you're in the sensitive-skin camp, dry your face completely, then wait at least 2 minutes before applying the balm. Treatments tend to be more potent and spreadable than moisturizers, so you usually need a smaller amount: think pea-sized, rather than a marble-sized dollop, and be sure to cover your entire face. Apply on the face by gently massaging. Pinch your skin with your thumb and index finger, working centimeter by centimeter, around both sides of your face: from your cheekbones to your temples, mouth towards your ears, and under your chin towards your neck. Lightly pinch your skin, working up towards your frown lines. To treat eventually your forehead wrinkles, place your thumbs on your temples and three fingers between your eyebrows. Using your fingers, massage upwards until you reach the same height as your thumbs. Apply the balm on your neck as well, and massage your neck with your palms by repeatedly smoothing upwards. You can use for this operation also an appropriate face massage tool. Use a targeted eye cream after. You can continue your day routine by using a hydrating foundation and non-drying makeup products. Those with mature skin are advised to apply the serum and balm in the mornings and evenings, while it's recommended younger skin types integrate it into their regime a few times a week. Using the ADVANCED REVITALIZING & HYDRATING SERUM-ESSENCE couldn’t be any simpler. Use tepid water to wash your face. Hot water can make your skin sweat, therefore, restricting absorption while cold water can close pores thus blocking the goodness of the serum. Dispense an adequate amount (3/4 drops) to your fingertips. Don't apply too much serum as it contain potent ingredients. Applying excess quantities can irritate the skin. After you have dropped the serum into your fingertips, do not rub your serum on your hands. The goal is that you want it to penetrate your face skin, not your hands. Dab the serum all over your neck and face using small, gentle motions. Wait for a few minutes. Let the serum penetrate your skin and then you can continue with your usual skincare routine (moisturizers, 24H creams, etc.) Never put your serum directly on your face. You should use the ADVANCED REVITALIZING & HYDRATING SERUM-ESSENCE twice daily, once in the morning and then again in the evening, before applying your moisturizer. Don't apply serums after moisturizers! Moisturizers or face oils are thick skincare products that seal in other skincare products you apply before them. Serums on the other hand are lightweight and can't penetrate the barrier created by heavy moisturizers or face oils. If you are applying serum at night, make sure not to layer too much. Night cream or moisturizer forms a heavy layer. So it is important to apply either a serum or a moisturizer.
